Gilbarco Customers
September 29, 2026: Certificate Update Required
Gilbarco Passport v23.01 sites must complete the required encryption certificate update by September 29, 2026.
Sites that do not install the updated certificate may lose the ability to process card transactions. Customers are encouraged to complete this update as soon as possible to avoid service disruptions.
December 31, 2026: Upgrade to Passport v24.04
All Gilbarco sites must be operating on Passport v24.04 by December 31, 2026.
Passport v24.04 is the minimum software version required to support Visa Fleet 2.0 functionality and meet Phillips 66 requirements.
What Gilbarco Customers Should Do Now
- Review your software version in the EPOS Site Dashboard.
- Complete the required certificate update.
- Schedule your upgrade to Passport v24.04 if needed.
- Avoid waiting until year-end when upgrade resources may become limited.
Verifone Customers
December 31, 2026: Upgrade to Commander/C18 v55
Verifone sites operating on Base 54 or older must upgrade to Commander/C18 v55 by December 31, 2026.
Version 55.02 is the minimum software version required to support Visa Fleet 2.0 functionality and future payment requirements.
Customers planning future upgrades should also be aware that newer Verifone software releases will require the C18 platform.
What Verifone Customers Should Do Now
- Review your software version in the EPOS Site Dashboard.
- Schedule your upgrade to Commander/C18 v55 if needed.
- Discuss long-term hardware plans with your Verifone provider if your site is operating on older equipment.
NCR Customers
Upgrade to CX2 Required
NCR customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the CX2 platform as soon as possible.
Moving to CX2 provides access to enhanced functionality, including loyalty stacking capabilities within the Fuel Forward® app.
While an end-of-life date for existing NCR software has not yet been announced, customers are encouraged to begin planning and scheduling upgrades now rather than waiting for a future deadline.
What NCR Customers Should Do Now
- Review your current NCR platform status.
- Schedule your migration to CX2 capable software.
- Contact your NCR channel partner or NCR representative to discuss upgrade options.
