Finding Fun at the Pump: Inside The Seventh Inning Sketch

Putting a playful spin on fan engagement, Phillips 66®, Conoco®, and 76® recently rolled out The Seventh Inning Sketch, an imaginative email campaign inspired by the classic “Where’s Waldo?” experience. Designed to drive brand interaction and fuel loyalty, the campaign cleverly blends nostalgia and gamification to connect with consumers in a fresh and memorable way.

What Is The Seventh Inning Sketch?

The Seventh Inning Sketch is a fun, interactive digital experience where fans explore a lively stadium illustration and try to spot all the hidden characters. The sketch-style artwork captures the spirit of a live baseball game, making it a playful challenge for all ages. Dive into the experience at phillips66stadiumsketch.com—just for the fun of it!

How It Works

  • Email Invitation: Consumers who are subscribed to our B2C emails will receive a promotional email inviting them to participate in the sketch challenge.
  • Interactive Experience: Consumers can visit the campaign site where users view a stylized stadium illustration and guess where the fans are seated.
  • Fuel Forward® App: Participants are encouraged to download and use the Fuel Forward® App through email and the experience.

By tapping into the excitement of baseball and combining it with interactive digital content, Phillips 66 creates a sense of community and fun around fueling up. The Seventh Inning Sketch helps build consumer engagement and fuel the fan experience.
