Due to an update in the public encryption certificate authority, new encryption key certificates are required to maintain compliance and secure transactions.
Due to this update, all Gilbarco Passport sites must do one of the following before January 15, 2026 to ensure the new certificate is added to the EPOS system:
- Option 1: Upgrade to version 23.01MP33 +QF26 (via I360, Gilbarco HD, or local tech)
- Option 2: Install Hotfix HF2025.05.EDH (Specifically for I360 users for self-install. Will require a few reboots during installation)
- Option 3: Install the Sectigo CertQF1 quick fix (Available via the Gilbarco HD or local tech install.)
Gilbarco Passport Sites that do not complete one of the above steps will lose all transaction processing capability beginning on January 15, 2026. Additionally, some sites may also begin experiencing intermittent loss of transaction processing capability leading up to January 15. Therefore, sites are urged not to wait- certificate updates should be completed as soon as possible ahead of the January 15 deadline.
Should you have any questions regarding this update, please reach out to Gilbarco.
Please also be reminded of a previously communicated important update regarding IS360 Connectivity: Sites must be on V23.01 or higher by September 30, 2025 to maintain IS360 Instore connectivity. Sites not currently on IS360 are encouraged to upgrade to V23.01 to avoid a future truck roll if IS360 access is requested later.
