The Phillips 66 National Marketing Advisory Council (NMAC or Council) is a vital component to help enhance communication and collaboration between Phillips 66 and its customers. The Council plays a crucial role in consulting on strategic issues, brand development, process validation, and relationship improvement for marketers and dealers across all geographic regions. It is a best practice shared by suppliers in the petroleum industry.
Council members have a unique opportunity to alert Phillips 66 to various key industry and local topics related to brand strategy and development. This makes the NMAC instrumental in assisting the development of strategies and tactics aimed at strengthening the Phillips 66®, Conoco®, and 76® brands.
The Council meets in person twice a year during the spring and fall with marketing and sales leadership. Recently, the spring 2025 meeting was held in Houston, Texas with two days of idea sharing and discussions across topics such as program updates, brand advertising, brand imaging, EPOS and payment systems, and innovation conversations. We topped it all off with an evening networking together at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for a little Texas fun after all that hard work!
