Verifone Commander V51.xx Software Expires June 30th

Upgrade to Verifone Commander v53.40 software for Phillips 66®, 76® and Conoco® branded stations for enhanced functionality, including EBT, WEX EMV fleet card processing, C18 hardware, self-checkout support and more. The new software is PCI SSF certified and can be used by the sites to support their PCI compliance requirements.

Phillips 66 recommends that EPOS software be maintained to the most current update or at minimum must run an approved version listed on Bizlink. After June 30, 2023, all Commander versions prior to v53.40 will be considered “expired software” and must be upgraded. Sites running expired software after this date will begin receiving non-compliance fees of $500 beginning on July 1, 2023.

Verifone has announced plans to stop sales on Ruby 2, Ruby Ci, Topaz 410, and Mx915 PINpad hardware mid-2023 with 3 years of support for any of these components. For new installations, Verifone C18 is the recommended hardware platform. Contact Verifone for more information at tony.pierce@verifone.com.
