Phillips 66 has become aware of a possible contactless EMV fraud issue in older Gilbarco software versions. Sites are always recommended to maintain their software to the latest version and apply maintenance packs when available.   

Gilbarco Passport version 23.01 MP14+ has been available since March 2024, and offers enhancements for contactless EMV payment functionality which are targeted to prevent fraudulent contactless transactions. Newer maintenance packs are also available now with the latest being MP18. Sites should work with their vendor or local installer to upgrade to the latest version and maintenance pack available.  

Sites on versions older than the above are recommended to upgrade now to help protect against fraudulent transaction risks and chargebacks.
