Phillips 66® is the title sponsor of the Big 12 Softball Championship that took place in Oklahoma City last week. Your brand hit a grand slam alongside these incredible athletes with a lineup including signage throughout the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex, branded giveaways inside the stadium and on-field promotions during every game. The winners left the game decked out in branded gear along with an incentive to turn into a branded site to redeem their prizes. Big-screen giveaways like these not only put your brand on blast in a way that breaks through the industry noise but also connects consumers to Phillips 66.
We want to continue supporting local colleges and championing these incredible young athletes as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX in June. This legislation created an equal playing ground for men and women in all federally funded educational institutions—giving women’s sports the resources, rights and recognition every student deserves. In honor of this historical milestone, Phillips 66 donated $6,600 to the Millwood High School softball team, fueling these young women who could one day become the next Big 12 champions. We are grateful for those who fought for Title IX so many years ago and are excited to continue championing the women at the Phillips 66 Company and beyond.
The games received national coverage with millions of fans tuning in to see your brand prominently displayed during every game, with this brand affinity being carried into the Big 12 Baseball Championship next week. If you or your employees have a favorite Big 12 school, be sure to sport your gear and let your local community know your site is committed to helping consumers Live to The Full® through education and community engagement.
