Fuel Forward is launching in the app store on April 3, and we want you to feel equipped with everything you need to know before the big day.
How will new and existing mobile app users be impacted?
For My 76® and My Conoco® App users: We will begin the phased approach to migrate existing user accounts to the Fuel Forward™ App in waves to ensure a smooth transition.
- Once the existing user has been migrated to Fuel Forward, they will be notified through a text message and email. They will be directed to download Fuel Forward where they will log-in with their existing account email and password.
- After the user has logged into Fuel Forward, their existing account information (payment methods, gift cards, transaction history and KickBack® cards) will be there and they can immediately make a transaction at your site. The app will function in all the same ways as before.
- When the migrated user opens their current My 76 or My Conoco App, they will receive a pop-up message asking them to download Fuel Forward. They will no longer be able to use the My 76 or My Conoco App.
For My Phillips 66® App users: If the user has app updates auto enabled, their app will automatically update to Fuel Forward. If the user does not have app updates auto enabled, they will receive a pop-up message within the app requiring them to update their app to Fuel Forward before they can continue use. The user may need to log back in after updating.
For new users: New users will only be able to download Fuel Forward after April 3. If a consumer searches for ‘76’, ‘Conoco’ or ‘Phillips 66’ in the app store, they will be directed to download Fuel Forward.
What will happen to the My Phillips 66, My 76 and My Conoco Apps?
My Phillips 66, My 76 and My Conoco Apps will be removed from the app store. In addition, all QR codes for the current apps will be rerouted to Fuel Forward in the app store.
How do I prepare?
- Fuel Forward Employee Reference Guide will be sent with your POP kits in April. This quick reference guide and consumer FAQs will equip your site employees with the knowledge they need to answer any consumer questions.
- Utilize the Fuel Forward assets portal. This hub was created for you to access creative assets and resources to help you promote Fuel Forward. More assets will be added in the coming weeks so be sure to save the link!
- POP kits will be arriving at your site(s) in April as we ensure existing app users accounts are successfully transitioned to Fuel Forward before promoting the new app. Be on the lookout for another upcoming Weekly Fill-Up with more POP details.
