To help enhance the Fuel ForwardTM App consumer offering and improve mobile operations, all sites are required to upgrade to Conexxus 2 by September 30, 2024.
The upgrade process has begun! You can complete the Conexxus 2 upgrade two ways:
- Schedule your site’s dedicated timeslot using our calendar booking tool
- Call the Phillips 66® Help Desk at 1-800-I-AM-DOWN.
- When you select a time to book or call, please ensure the site representative is available to dedicate ~30 minutes to complete the conversion with no distractions.
Prepare for your CX2 Upgrade
- This initial effort will apply to sites with Gilbarco and Verifone POS. Sites with NCR will follow shortly after. Ensure your site is on the minimum eligible software version of Gilbarco (v21.03) and Verifone (Base 53). If not, please contact the appropriate vendor for assistance in upgrading as soon as possible.
- The CX2 upgrade process will happen at the site level with the Phillips 66® Help Desk and site representative. The upgrade process can only be completed by a phone call with our help desk.
- Sites will be walked through a few steps to update and validate functionality. On average, it takes ~30 minutes to complete. To expedite the process, please ensure the site representative dedicates time to complete the conversion and limits distractions.
About Connexus 2 (CX2)
CX2 is an updated technology standard interface of how data is transmitted and integrated between the point-of-sale system, back office, and mobile/loyalty payment processing. CX2 will help:
- Improve mobile offer discount reliability of transactions: allows for consistent and reliable mobile offers to consumers.
- Provide new discounting functionality: CX2 will allow us to implement enhanced mobile offers and discounts in the Fuel ForwardTM App.
- Reduce settlement issues: help reduce reimbursement delays to your site(s) for mobile pay transactions.
- Reduce mobile pay downtime: moving sites from current VPN to P97 servers will help solve disconnection issues.
