76® lit up Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game

76® brought the spirit to the first ever Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas, Nevada as this year’s presenting sponsor. After hyping up Pac-12 fans all season long with the 76 Pac-12 Promotion at your site(s), consumers knew that your brand was going to light up everything from the pre-game celebrations to Utah and Oregon’s big game on the field.

There were more than 56,000 fans in attendance, which is a record in the event’s neutral-site history. 76 encouraged West Coast consumers to fill up at your site(s) and get their chance to win tickets to the game all season long. On Dec. 3, 76 joined fans at the stadium to give them more chances to win prizes and nurture brand affinity through our in-stadium promotions, signage and activations, including:

  • 76 branded tailgate that offered consumers a chance to win 76 gas cards for participating in an activation game
  • Hosted customers at a VIP tailgate
  • Onsite activation at the entrance of the stadium that included a prize wheel and premium giveaways
  • In-stadium LED logos
  • Branded field goal net
  • Dual-branded 76 and Pac-12 Championship Game logo at the 50-yard line
  • 76 logos at the 25-yard lines
  • On-field fan promotion that led a lucky participant to win a 76 gas card worth $7,600

In addition to our in-stadium presence, 76’s reach spanned across the United States with live video broadcasting of the championship game on ABC to 3.5 million people. This time only, what happened in Vegas at the Pac-12 Championship, did not stay in Vegas as this sponsorship created long-lasting brand recognition and consumer loyalty as fans know your brand is the one that fuels their favorite teams.

76 has been the proud title sponsor of the Pac-12 Championship for six consecutive years, and we are excited to see what next year’s football season brings.
