Touchdown! A Look Back at Our 2024 NFL Sponsorships

As the 2024 NFL season comes to a close, we’re excited to reflect on the success of our branded sponsorships! This season, we brought the GO to the football field, engaging consumers, building loyalty, and driving traffic to Phillips 66®, Conoco®, and 76®-branded sites. With nearly 20,000 unique users engaging with the Fuel Forward® App and over 3,000 ticket promotion redemptions, fan participation was strong this season. 

Here’s a recap of the highlights from this year’s efforts: 

The Denver Broncos: We continued our strong collaboration with the Denver Broncos, building on the exciting promotions from 2023. Fans across the Rockies enjoyed promotions and advertising that spanned from the pump to the field, with even bigger engagement this year.  

NEW! The Seattle Seahawks: Our sponsorship with the Seattle Seahawks marked a new chapter for us this season. The Seahawks are the most popular professional sports team in the Seattle market, and we had the chance to connect with their passionate fanbase across the Pacific Northwest. This partnership helped us create exciting opportunities for engagement with fans from Alaska to Utah.  

NFL Ticket Promotion Highlights: Our ticket promotions were a key element of our sponsorship strategy, offering fans the chance to win tickets by using the Fuel Forward® App and fueling up at participating locations. 

  • Denver Broncos: From July 29 to December 29, 2024, fans in Colorado had the chance to win two tickets by purchasing 8 or more gallons using the Fuel Forward® App. The promotion built on its success from previous years, with a solid return user base and a 50% increase in new participants. 
  • Seattle Seahawks: From July 29 to December 15, 2024, fans in Washington had the chance to win two tickets by paying for 8 or more gallons through the Fuel Forward® App. The promotion had a successful first year, driving significant new user acquisition for Fuel Forward®, with Seattle contributing over 50,000 qualifying purchases of 8 or more gallons. 

The sweepstakes were supported through point-of-purchase displays, social media, digital advertising, email campaigns, and the Fuel Forward® App.
