Conoco® is putting you a mile high above the competition with our Broncos sponsorship this year!

We are halfway through football season and the Conoco® brand is putting you a mile high above the competition with Broncos sponsorship opportunities that are bringing fans together and getting them amped to engage with your brand. Conoco is using creative and innovative ways to interact with consumers at Broncos tailgates so fans can rally around and celebrate their favorite team with your brand. As Conoco continues to fuel this iconic team with a nationwide fanbase, your business is nurturing brand affinity as consumers look to reap the rewards of supporting fellow Broncos fans with every fill up.

In a standout season of activations and promotions, check out how the Conoco brand has engaged with consumers thus far:

At the Oct. 17 game against their biggest rivals, The Las Vegas Raiders, Conoco brought The Dirty Car Artist Scott Wade to create an art installation right at Empower Field in the tailgating area. The Dirty Car Artist finds his craft in the dirtiest of car windows, creating intricate masterpieces using a variety of brushes and tools to pull out scenes from the dirt that accumulates on cars. The Dirty Car Artist dedicated his “Back from Canton” masterpiece to Broncos Hall of Famers, painting Steve Atwater, Champ Bailey and John Lynch into the rear window, with a touching memorial to Floyd Little in the driver’s side rear window. The car itself was decked out in Conoco and Broncos co-branded stickers and dirty artwork, putting your brand alongside Broncos legends for fans to see. The art installation attracted thousands of fans who could then spin a prize wheel to win Conoco branded swag including gas cards to use at your site(s) after the game. This art installation brought a novel art form to Broncos and Raiders fans alike, causing passionate Broncos followers to truly stop and marvel on their way to the game – positioning Conoco as a brand that can find unique and spectacular art anywhere, including within a dirty car window.

During the Halloween game on Oct. 31, Conoco presented fans with a tailgate game, Kickin’ it with Conoco, that gave fans the opportunity to win gas cards. Bringing a sense of nostalgia to fans with this homage to paper flick football games, this bigger version allowed fans to make their own miracle field goal shot by attempting to flick a small football through a field goal and into the window of a truck. The game was played in the bed of a truck made to look like a football field, with prizes available in different zones on the filed and the ultimate prize being claimed if fans could get their flick through the window. The game attracted tons of Broncos fans looking to make their own goal and win gas cards to use at your site(s). By leveraging these gas cards as the ultimate prize, consumers are eager to use their winnings at your site(s), creating multiple opportunities to gain lifelong consumers. If you want to see this activation in action, Conoco will be kickin’ it with consumers at the Nov. 14 Broncos game tailgate to give more fans a chance to win!

As a part of the Broncos Coffee Cup Promotion, there have already been more than 900 entries into the Brandon McManus contest this year. With the chance to meet Brandon McManus on the line for fans, consumers have been eager to scan the QR code at your site(s) for their shot at winning. This is proof that POP materials at your site(s) are effective in catching consumers’ attention, and they are genuinely excited about the opportunities your brand is presenting them with.

These exciting offers and activations are striving to help increase traffic for your business, so make sure you’re taking every consumer as a new opportunity to create lasting loyalty. As consumers continue to visit your site(s), fill up, scan the QR codes and cheer on the Broncos, continue to engage with every person who walks through your doors and keep your site(s) in tip-top shape to make the best first impression possible.
