Consumers can now score 4 Thorns tickets at your site(s)!

As of May 1, consumers will be heading to your site(s) to fill up with 8+ gallons to score their tickets to see the Portland Thorns take the pitch at Providence Park in downtown Portland.

This popular promotion has a history of selling out early in the past. Portland Thorns supporters will be excited to visit your site, fill-up and receive their ticket voucher.

The passion of Portland Thorns’ supporters and 76®’s fan base is key to this ever-popular promotion. New for this year, we have increased the benefit (4 tickets) to help get more fans into the stadium and drive double the traffic (and fill-ups) to your site(s).

To help reach as many fans as possible, this promotion will have signage posted throughout the stadium, across 76® social media pages, on the Thorns’ official website and through POP materials at your site(s). You will receive POP at your site(s) in the coming weeks and should install it according to the placement guide as soon as possible.

How it works for consumers:

  • Fill up with 8+ gallons at your site(s).
  • Retrieve a voucher from the attendant with a unique code.
  • Visit www.thornsfc.com/76 and enter unique ticket code to redeem four tickets and select match date.
  • Tickets will be eligible for May 21, May 31, June 23, August 20 and September 16.

Because this promotion is executed through physical vouchers obtained at your c-store, make sure your employees are aware of their role and understand the redemption process for consumers. This is also a great time to capitalize on the positive impacts one-to-one consumer interactions can make, as being a friendly face and an engaging conversation can lead to positive Google Business Profile reviews, good word of mouth and more to push a steady flow of consumers into your business. And, as you start to recognize the soccer fans at your site(s), make sure they also know about 76’s Timber’s promotion, which we will highlight in an upcoming Weekly Fill-Up.
