Customer Spotlight: Stepping up to serve local communities

Dale Boyett – CEO, Boyett Petroleum

From the top down, starting with CEO Dale Boyett, community involvement is a core value at Boyett Petroleum. Boyett Petroleum continues to impress us with their impact on their community through numerous charitable donations including through their own foundation, Make Dreams Real. Founded in 2011, Make Dreams Real has grown to become a $1 million endowment fund supporting local nonprofits that benefit children in Stanislaus County. Funds are raised predominantly through Boyett Petroleum’s annual golf tournament, and in 2022 alone, they raised over $400,000 to fund local youth programs. We are so proud to support you and watch you represent our brand so well.

Great Western Petroleum has been one of our customers for more than 40 years. They support local food banks, local schools and college athletics, the YMCA, special needs programs and many local fundraisers. It is evident that they are always striving to demonstrate best practices in each of the stores they operate under our Conoco® and 76® brands, and they are always willing to share their successes with others to help their peers grow and build loyalty for the brands. Thank you to Great Western Petroleum for having such a positive impact on your community.

Tom Atkison – CEO, Bear Oil Company

Tom Atkins, CEO of Bear Oil Company, heard about the community’s efforts in response to the pandemic and jumped right in to support his local hospital. Atkins delivered meals prepared by family-owned restaurant, Chapter Two California Kitchen, essential personal protective equipment and 76-branded care packages to Loma Linda University Medical Center. LLUMC is located in the heart of Loma Linda and serves as a level one trauma center for San Bernardino County and a teaching hospital for Loma Linda University. Thank you for being such a great steward of the 76 brand and stepping up to serve your community!
